We need your help on election day!

1.BE VISIBLE AT THE POLLS!

On Monday Nov 5th, take your signs and flyers and display them with pride 150 feet from your local court house, either from 8:30-10:30 am or 12:30-1:30 and/or 4:30 to 6:30 pm

On Tuesday Nov 6th, bring out your signs and banners to hold them 150 feet from your local polling location

2. BE SEEN ABOUT TOWN!

Grab a friend and a stack of flyers. Head over to your local college campus, library, grocery store or public space and hand out flyers on Monday.

3. VOICE YOUR OPINION!

4. RING THE PHONE BANKS!

THE ARKANSAS STATE FAIR STARTS TODAY!

Drop by to pick up materials or stay to volunteer!Help motivate the vote in the single most important public event before the election. Volunteer to take a shirt of two during one of the ten fair days

to educate the Arkansas public on the compassionate truth of medical marijuana.

The booth will be open from 11am to 10pm every day, October 12-21 and must be manned at all times.

You can register by mail in just three steps: download, print, then mail (or drop-off the form at your county courthouse).

HOW DO I KNOW IF I’M REGISTERED?
Consider yourself registered when—and only when—you receive an acknowledgment from your county clerk. This could take several weeks, regardless of your method of application.

Never assume you are registered to vote until you have received this acknowledgment.

Call your county clerk after two weeks and inquire about the status of your application.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
To register to vote in Arkansas, you must:
• Be a U.S. citizen.
• Be an Arkansas resident (residing in Arkansas at least 30 days prior to the first election in which you will vote).
• Be age 18 or turn 18 on or before the next election.
• Not be a convicted felon whose sentence has not been discharged or pardoned.
• Not be presently adjudged as mentally incompetent as to your ability to vote by a court of competent jurisdiction.

A pair of scientists at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco has found that a compound derived from marijuana could stop metastasis in many kinds of aggressive cancer, potentially altering the fatality of the disease forever.

“It took us about 20 years of research to figure this out, but we are very excited,” said Pierre Desprez, one of the scientists behind the discovery, to The Huffington Post. “We want to get started with trials as soon as possible.”
